I want to personally welcome you to the SAI community. When I started SAI more than 30 years ago, I wanted to make study abroad easily accessible to students and faculty; from the start, SAI has offered culturally immersive academic experiences. Since then, international education has evolved considerably but SAI continues to embrace our original values, cherishing each relationship and providing a personalized service to each student and to our faculty-led groups. Our team engages with students as mentors, cultural liaisons, teachers and friends. When you choose SAI, you’re joining a network of like minded individuals who share your curiosity for the world. Welcome to the SAI community abroad.
Studying abroad in Florence has changed the way I look at architecture and design in ways I did not expect. I am a Construction Management major with a background and minor in Design Thinking, and after graduating, I hope to pursue a master’s degree in Architecture. Because of that, Florence has felt like the perfect place to explore the design side of what I want to do in the future.
