The past few weeks have been busy to say the least. My friends and I decided to do some traveling around Europe. We went to Rome, Florence, Pompeii, Amsterdam, Budapest and Barcelona. Each of these cities offered something new and exciting; every place was unlike any other place we had been.
Although we got a bit lost along the way, we always made it safely to each destination. Each trip we decided to stay in a hostel, which ended up being a great option because it allowed us to meet many other college students from around the world.
Throughout these past few weeks of travel, I have learned so much not only about the friends I traveled with, but also myself. We were forced to go out of our comfort zone to explore yet another unfamiliar country. We loved every minute of it, from getting lost in a unfamiliar city to the early morning flights. Although we loved every place we visited, it was always a great feeling to get back to Sorrento. My friends and I can agree that it’s officially our home away from home.
