Tell us why you chose to study abroad.
I chose to study abroad because I had taken a high school soccer trip to Europe and could not wait to go back. I am also a Spanish minor so studying in a different country would be beneficial to learning a new language.
Tell us about your school, major, interests, clubs (you in a nutshell).
I will be a junior at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. I am majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Spanish. I’m a member of the sorority Pi Beta Phi.
What are you most excited about re. studying abroad?
I am most excited to travel around Europe with new friends.
What are you most nervous about re. studying abroad?
I am most nervous about adjusting to a new lifestyle- things like grocery shopping, transportation, and attending a new school.
What are three goals that you would like to achieve/accomplish while abroad?
Three goals I have for myself are to try all kinds of new food that I normally wouldn’t in America, be adventurous (never say ‘no’ to a new experience), and gain speaking and listening skills in Spanish.
