As I sit here on my plane ride home across the Atlantic and reflect upon my time abroad, I think about all the great times, the adventures and the many new friends I have made from across the globe.
It dawned upon me that the value I have gained by studying abroad isn’t encompassed by the country or city I chose, but rather the people and experiences I have encountered along the way. I traveled to seven countries in my three and a half months in Europe, and I can definitively say that in each of those seven countries I met someone who touched my life in some way.
I was able to do amazing things I never dreamed of doing, while learning so much along the way. I will be forever grateful for my experience and would recommend studying abroad to anyone who is lucky enough to have the opportunity.
