SAI students who attend the Jan Term Program at the Paris School of Business embark on a two week academic and cultural experience at one of the premier business schools in France. Visiting students earn 3 US credits by completing an intensive course of study in one of the following areas: Luxury Brand Management or Artificial Intelligence for Business. These focused business courses enroll a limited number of participants and provide students with the opportunity to work closely with PSB's world-class faculty, while discovering the beauty and richness of The City of Light.

Students should have a basic understanding of statistics.
This course will help students gain a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including its history and basic concepts. They will learn about the principles and applications of Business Intelligence (BI) and predictive analytics in business, as well as developing comprehension of the workings and current applications of generative AI in business.
During this course, students will develop the following competences: understand the Luxury-of-today: Balancing between legacy, sustainability and the willingness to shift paradigms; appreciate the key specificities of the luxury business in terms of product, services and managerial practices; investigate specific Luxury segments, and grasp the key aspects of Luxury brand management, the impact of the digital, the new Luxury customers segmentation and the main business models.

Courses are intensive and will include classroom work, lectures, and workshops, as well as visits to Parisian businesses and cultural activities. All activities will be completed within the two week program schedule.

Pre-departure and Re-entry services

Standard Housing: Student residence
Private room accommodations are provided in a student residence hall. Housing includes a meal plan, providing breakfast and lunch on all weekdays.
Passports
Passports should be valid for 3 months after planned departure from France.
Student Visas
In accordance with French law students studying in France for 91 or more days are required to obtain a student visa. Therefore, US students are not required to obtain a student visa for this program. Non-US nationals should consult their local Consulate for information on student visa requirements
