On a spur of the moment decision, a roommate and I decided to go to the Amalfi Coast for a weekend getaway. We decided to go to Positano, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The views were absolutely breathtaking, the water was the clearest I’ve ever seen, and it became one of my favorite Italian trips. The whole time I was there, I couldn’t stop staring at my surroundings thinking, “I must be in a dream.” These pictures highlight only a few of the never-ending picturesque views that Positano has to offer.
Positano is all hill; there’s barely any flat ground until you get to the beach. Every building and street changes colors, never leaving a dull spot.
Beautiful sunset over the mountains from the view at our hostel.
This is a picture of Positano from the sea. We went on a boat tour to Capri and on our way home I captured this. (Highly recommend taking a boat tour.)

Found this anchor on the shore near the docks
One of the first real views I had of the Positano buildings upon arriving
One piece of amazing wall art that decorated Positano
