The month of February has flown by so quickly, but been so much fun. I feel so much more settled into Milan now and it feels like home. My roommates and I took a weekend trip to Paris, where we shopped, ate so many crepes, and explored the city. We also went to Stresa, one of the Lakes right outside of Milan. It was nice to get out of the city for a little while and be somewhere so quiet. We took a boat to the other islands on the lake; it was the most relaxing and refreshing day. Having the chance to experience so many different kinds of people and cultures is truly irreplaceable and something I am learning a lot from.

My favorite week here so far was fashion week. Going to all the events and parties and seeing such important people in the industry roaming around Milan was amazing. I actually ended up getting into a few shows during the week, which was an unexpected surprise. My passion for the industry is growing with the weeks here and actually being in the city center during fashion week showed me a whole new side to things.
