I have been in Italy for about a week and a half now and it still feels like I’m in a dream. I never imagined I would in Rome of all the places in the world for school. I live right by the university in the historic neighborhood of Trastevere. Everywhere I turn I see something unbelievable, whether it be the Pantheon, the coliseum or the Trevi fountain. I’m living with five other girls and in this short amount of time I feel like we have become a family. We have had some amazing adventures getting lost in the city because no matter where we go, we end up finding something incredible.
I started classes this week and I’m absolutely in love with them. I am so excited for this semester. My professors are really nice and I know I am going to learn so much. My classes are all very small but I like it. The students here at the university are from all over the world. It is so amazing how this school has brought all these people together. I have made some friends already and I feel so blessed to have them in my life. Overall I am in love with Rome. The locals are very nice and welcoming. I am so excited to see what other adventures I can have while my stay here in Rome!
