Milan has been everything that I’ve expected and more. I know my way around the city, am becoming a regular at some cafes, traveling on the weekends and having the time of my life while doing it all. I am loving every minute of traveling. My roommate and I took a day trip to Stresa, Italy which is right by the Alps on the border of Switzerland. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I also was so lucky to go to Paris over Valentine’s day with my roommates and explore a new city and fell in love with it all, but was excited to get back home to Milan just in time for fashion week.

I can’t believe that I have already been here for a little over a month. Time is moving way too fast and I don’t want the abroad experience to end.  Fashion week in Milan was such an amazing experience filled with inspiration, fabulous people, and in general, a great environment to be around during my time here. I was able to get into some shows and see some people that I have looked up to for so long in the industry. The entire city changes and you really understand the importance of fashion in Milan and why it is considered the fashion capital of the world. This experience has really made me realize what I am meant to do and who I am meant to be. This truly has been a life changing experience and it’s only been a month!
