Enroll in virtual courses this summer!

In addition to offering all of our programs on-site, we are also delighted to offer virtual programs to those unable to travel this summer.

At SAI, we are deeply committed to a global education. That’s why, during these difficult and uncertain times resulting from the global COVID-19 outbreak, we have redoubled our efforts to provide authentic, culturally relevant, and academically stimulating experiences to students who are currently not able to travel. In collaboration with our partner host schools abroad, we have created various options for students to complete international coursework and internships this Summer 2021, without ever leaving their homes.

In creating these virtual programs, we have been guided by the desire to continue to offer students as much opportunity for cultural and global education as possible. Our academic and internship programs have cultural integration built into them: opportunities for language exchange with local students, virtual cultural seminars, resources providing unique cultural and language tidbits, and courses that focus on the subject’s application to local communities. We are confident that our virtual programs provide the same excellence that students, parents, and partner schools have trusted for 25 years.

In Summer 2021, we are offering the following virtual academic programs:

• Florence University of the Arts (Florence): 3 – 6 weeks / 3 – 12 credits
  • Virtual Summer Courses
  • Courses available in: photography, health, history, science, communication, business and more
  • Program cost starting at: $1,300
• Sant’Anna Institute (Sorrento): 3 weeks / 3 credits
  • Virtual Summer Courses
  • Courses available in: Italian language, business, history, culture, and sciences
  • Program cost starting at: $2,100
• SIS Intercultural Studies (Siena): 6 weeks / 3 – 9 credits
  • Virtual Summer courses
  • Courses available in: Italian language, culture, science
  • Program cost starting at: coming soon

• Barcelona Internships: 6 weeks / no credits

  • Placements available in: online marketing, digital promotion, social media management and more!
  • Program cost: $1,300

• Florence University of the Arts Internships: 3 – 6 weeks / 3 credits
